Bob Stauffer's bio continued

Following that call he worked for a number of years as a regional director for Fellowship of Christian Athletes overseeing the ministry in 5 states and this was followed by 5 years as the National Outreach Director for the EPC overseeing national church health, church planting, and assisting churches in crisis. He was then called to become the church planter for Gateway EPC in Slippery Rock PA and the Church Development coordinator for the newly formed Presbytery of the Alleghenies where he still currently serves. He then left Gateway to give his full time to the POA for the last 9 years. For two years he then gave part of his time to Covenant EPC in Sharon Pa. where he has served with his brother in helping the vitality process at that church. For the last 17 months he has served as the Transitional Pastor at Bethany EPC in Mercer PA in addition to his other responsibilities. Bob will take on the role of National Director of Church Health at the General Assembly offices beginning September 1, 2021.

In 1994 Bob completed his Doctor of Divinity degree from Reformed theological Seminary in Jackson Mississippi. Bob has served in a multitude of positions in the EPC while serving in 7 presbyteries (he transferred four times with out even moving as the denomination grew) !!

He has also been a high school baseball and strength and conditioning coach for the past 34 years and participated in all kinds of sports opportunities. But the real loves of his life are his wife Debbie of 42 years, his three children (Nathan, Serah, and Jeremiah, who are all engaged in ministry), and his 8 grandchildren.
