Ministry Leadership

Pastor Peter Dembroski

Family Life Director Nathan Childers

  • Rev dr. peter dembroski, senior pastor

Pastor Peter grew up in an Air Force family, moving often around the U.S. and abroad. His family finally landed in Anchorage, AK, and that became home for them. It was in Anchorage that Peter gave his life to Jesus Christ, felt called to ministry, and met and married Cynthia, his wife of 28 years. Together they moved to Pasadena, CA, where Peter attended Fuller Seminary and received his Master of Divinity degree. Since then, Peter has served churches in Northern California, Florida, and Ohio. In 2014 he received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Peter and Cynthia have 5 awesome children and two great sons-in-law. Pastor Peter joined the Bethany Presbyterian Church family in August, 2014. He loves being a pastor, his favorite aspects of the job are being the relationships he builds, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples of Jesus Christ, and potlucks! If you hear Pastor Peter preach, you know that he loves movies! His favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings series, but he loves a good comedy or mystery. On his day off, you can usually find him outside golfing, skiing or riding motorcycles. Peter loves sports of all kinds and keeps very active. Since they were first married, he and Cynthia have tried to have a date night once a week, and this is another of his favorite activities, next to spending time with his kids.
